We recently came across an OG customer who had all three catalogs that King created in the late 80s / early 90s. Each of these hand-assembled catalogs was called a Volume and included a carefully curated collection of Mugen parts, King parts, information about Mugen, and information about King's racecars and services. Each include thoughtful introductory letters written by King's CEO Scott and are a terrific snapshot of Honda/Acura performance culture at the time.
Because we don't spend much time looking in the rear view, we actually didn't have these Volumes anymore in our own library of literature. In fact we only printed about 1000 of each Volume. So Bill Yoon generously loaned the Volumes to us (including the price list inserts) for us to scan and make available to share with our friends!

Back in the 80's, a Mugen limited slip diff turned any CRX/Civic or Integra into an auto-x or road race terror. It simply revolutionized what we thought possible in a FWD setup! This basic design is still winning championships worldwide....

Sadly we don't see too many first gen Integras on the streets these days. Even rarer were the 5-door versions. Here's Mugen's take on that very rare 5-door!
"INTEGRA CURCUIT FORM"
Check out the QUINT GSi sticker as well as the more familiar DOHC SPORTS Mugen sticker.
And here is the version with two less doors, in black! Heavy window and taillight tint really bring out the nose-to-tail graphic stripes!

One of our favorite Hondas is the DC2 Type R (DC2R). Mugen fitted new aero and performance parts to improve upon Honda's already formidable track-worthy Integra Type R. The aero kit fits the JDM front clip and features an aggressive, taller wing. Bronze 16" MF10 wheels and suspension upgrades make sure this lightweight Integra transfers power from the Mugen-equipped motor to the pavement.
Three-quarters rear view: clean, simple and functional!
This Mugen sketch illustrates the aerodynamic theories supporting the bold design of Mugen's functional aero body parts for the DC2R. We love how the Mugen front bumper cover and hood work together to pull hot air out of the engine compartment.
Theory is put to the test in an aero analysis in a full scale wind tunnel. Form follows function!
